Team Legion recently attended a conference in Dallas, Texas, for rising stars working in business direct marketing. Alon, our firm’s Director of Operations, took Jeremy and Eric with him to the weekend event.
Eric is one of our top performers who is about to be promoted to assistant manager. Jeremy is newer to the company, and this was the first time he’d experienced a national leadership conference. This was a great networking opportunity for everyone, and the keynote speakers shared an incredible amount of information in a short period of time. All our attendees came back with knowledge to share and an increased enthusiasm for their work.
Travel is a big part of the Legion experience, so we’ve established a few guidelines to make sure we get the most out of our trips. For instance, we strive to be strategic with our time when there are two or more places we can be during a conference or workshop. If we have to choose between a keynote speaker or networking, we consider what we need more: the expertise being shared by a specific business leader, or the wisdom and potential business opportunities to which a new business contact might have access.
