Development is extremely important around Legion HQ because it sets the foundation for lasting success. We’re focused on helping everyone who joins our team gain all the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. Everyone learns differently, so ours is a trial-and-error type of approach. Our main rule of thumb is that team members must apply themselves, as good things emerge when the right amount of effort is exercised.
For those joining our team at the entry level, we provide plenty of hands-on training. By learning from experienced top performers, our newest hires quickly gain the confidence they need to excel in our industry. Our focus is on helping people maximize their unique talents as they learn the ropes from Legion account managers who have been there and done that.
There are a couple of simple strategies we apply to ensure that our ongoing training efforts are successful. Perhaps the most important step we take is to create written plans for development that are suited to each person’s learning style and skill level. From there, we schedule regular check-ins so that everyone is on the same page with regard to the progress being made. Being diligent in these ways allows us to capitalize on every learning opportunity.
